Data sensitivity made the hack material to Astrana's financial position

Assessment

The Record wrote that the 8-K "notes that the 'potential confidential and sensitive nature of the data' has made the incident material to the company's financial position." The filing says the company determined the incident is material "due to the potential confidential and sensitive nature of the data that is involved." In the same section it states that the company "currently does not expect that it will have a material effect on the Company's financial condition and results of operations." The materiality determination rests on the nature of the data, and the company says the opposite about its financial position. Checked directly against the Item 1.05 text on EDGAR.

What “False” means

Contradicted by primary sources. Reserved for claims checked directly against the authoritative record — an advisory that does not exist, a catalogue that does not list the entry, a directive that says something other than what is reported.
